OK, so it's the holiday season, and I now live in the Southland.  I don't miss the snow.  I have been forced to deal with the whole Christmas tree issue.  The trees here run from $80 to $225.  I broke down and we have a fake tree for the first time.

I try to rationalize that we will not be killing off a tree or filling the dump with it.  I still miss a real tree.

We went back to Madison last week for a visit.  Nice to see the town again.  It's no longer my home.  I guess that I'm now a resident of Florida.  It's 80 degrees here today.  I'm actually thinking about swimming in the pool.

Did my taxes yesterday.  How is it that I'm going to pay more taxes than Romney?  I didn't make 20 million last year.

PS  Florida has no income tax.

Did I mention that I like living here.
